Our Original boot turns 60 this year. And to celebrate we're expanding our range of colours and materials ¡ª right down to upcoming rebel sizes. These new 1460 boots are built from Patent Lamper with all our original markings locked in: yellow stitching, grooved sides and an AirWair heel loop. Built for the next generation of DM's wearers, they have a side zip for easy access.

  • Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic
  • Patent Lamper is a fine-grained leather, coated to give a high shine, glossy finish. Clean with a damp cloth and restore its shine with Dr. Martens Patent Cleaner
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700¡ãC and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt with a damp cloth. Spray Dr. Martens Patent Leather Cleaner evenly on to footwear wiping off any excess with a clean cloth. Once dry, buff vigorously to desired shine with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush.

Construction

The sole is cemented to the upper.
