Details

We¡¯ve gone soft. We¡¯ve rebuilt our classic 2976 Chelsea boot using luxurious Ambassador leather, a tumbled material with an oiled finish and a soft handle that will feel shaped to your feet from day one ¡ª so it¡¯s easier than ever to experience an Original Dr. Martens silhouette. The sole is secured with DM¡¯s yellow welt stitching and marked with our signature grooving pattern. The top of the boot is tagged with our unmistakable black and yellow loop.

  • The 2976 boot is our rugged take on the classic Chelsea boot. Manufactured since the 70s.
  • Ambassador is a heavyweight and oily leather that¡¯s been tumbled for added character. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam.
  • The DMS sole is a cornerstone of Dr. Martens construction. A two-tone PVC sole marked with our signature grooving and our unique tread.
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch.

Care Instructions

Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply Dr.Martens Wonder Balsam, add to shoes using the sponge applicator supplied with the product.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
